🧵 Fabric & Care Guide
Type what the label says, or pick a fabric, to see how it feels, how to wash it and how long it should last.
What does the label say?
Care symbols
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Wash tub | Machine washable. A number inside is the highest water temperature in °C. Dots mean the same: one is cool (30), two is warm (40), three is hot (50). |
| Wash tub with a hand | Hand wash only, in cool water. |
| Line under the tub | Use a gentle cycle. Two lines means a very gentle cycle. |
| Triangle | Bleach is allowed. A crossed-out triangle means never bleach. |
| Square with a circle | Tumble dry. One dot is low heat, two is medium. Crossed out means do not tumble dry. |
| Square with a flat line | Dry flat, so the garment keeps its shape. |
| Iron | Ironing is allowed. One dot is low heat, two is medium, three is high. |
| Circle | Dry clean. A crossed-out circle means do not dry clean. |
| Any symbol crossed out | Do not do that step. |
Good to know: Always follow the care label on the garment itself where it differs from this guide.
